ANKARA
The eurozone trade surplus reached €10 billion ($10.9 billion) in September, according to official data released on Wednesday.
The figure improved from a €36.6 billion deficit in September 2022, Eurostat data showed.
Euro area goods exports to the rest of the world dropped 9.3% from a year earlier to €235.8 billion in September.
Its goods imports plunged 23.9% to €225.8 billion in the same period.
Intra-euro area trade reached €217.3 billion in July, a 15.5% decline from September 2022.
The EU27 registered a trade surplus of €7.1 billion in September, compared to a deficit of €47.4 billion last year.
In January-September, the eurozone's overseas shipments topped €2.1 trillion, while its imports were €2.1 trillion.
As a result, the single-currency zone saw a surplus of €16.3 billion in the nine-month period.
