Borsa Istanbul up at Friday's open
BIST 100 index rises over 6 points from previous close

ANKARA
Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,424.04 points on Friday, rising 0.42%, or 6.01 points, from the previous close.
At Thursday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was down 0.42% to 1,418.03 points, with a daily trading volume of more than 12 billion Turkish liras ($1.42 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 8.5400 as of 09.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), from 8.5050 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also rose to 10.0500 from 10.0380, while one British pound traded for 11.7800 Turkish liras, up from 11.7480.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $75.41 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
