Borsa Istanbul flat at Tuesday's open

ANKARA
Turkey’s benchmark stock index opened at 1,348.08 points on Tuesday, down 0.08% or 1.03 points from the previous close.
At Monday’s close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was down 0.18% at 1,349.11 points, with a daily trading volume of more than 10.44 billion Turkish liras ($1.21 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate fell to 8.5590 as of 9:30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday, from 8.5660 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate dropped to 10.0940 from 10.1150, while one British pound traded for 11.8500 Turkish liras, rising from 11.7910.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $73.60 as of 10:10 a.m. local time (0710GMT).
