Bitcoin continues to hit new record highs, surpassing $123,000
Price of bitcoin hits another all-time high of $123,000, rising more than 4%

ISTANBUL
Bitcoin continued its rally early Monday, reaching a new record of $123,000 as of around 0740GMT.
The cryptocurrency has rallied for five days, hitting historical high levels during the last week.
The current price of the largest cryptocurrency is at around $122,200 as of 0925GMT, up 4.2% day-on-day.
According to data from analysis firm Coinmarketcap, the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, rose approximately 3.5% in past 24 hours, reaching $3.8 trillion.
The price of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is up almost 27% since the start of this year.
The price of Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, gained around 2.7% in value, rising to $3,045.
