Summer camp entertains children with disabilities in Gaza
US-based NGO opens 10-day recreational camp for 120 children
GAZA CITY, Palestine
An American NGO has inaugurated a summer camp in the blockaded Gaza Strip for children with disabilities.
The Qudwa Camp opened by the Palestine Children's Relief Fund welcomed on Tuesday 120 children and youths with disabilities.
Located in Khan Yunis city, the camp aims at providing a safe space for children.
The camp will run for 10 days, offering recreational, cultural, and social activities for amputees.
The US-based group has been working for over 30 years to provide medical and humanitarian care to sick and wounded children in the Palestinian territories and refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon.
