Everything Everywhere All At Once leads 2023 Oscar nominations

WASHINGTON

The 95th Academy Award nominations were announced on Tuesday, with Everything Everywhere All At Once dominating nominations for best categories, including best motion picture.

The science-fiction comedy drama film is nominated for 10 categories, including for best picture, best director, best actress, best supporting actress, best supporting actor and best original screenplay.

The shortlist was announced at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, by Oscar-winning actor-producer Riz Ahmed and actor Allison Williams.

Among the other nominees leading the Oscar nominations were The Banshees of Inisherin, All Quiet on the Western Front and The Fabelmans.

The Netflix’ war drama All Quiet on the Western Front was nominated in nine categories, including best international feature film.

The Irish dark comedy The Banshees of Inisherin is up for eight awards, including best picture, best director, best actor and best supporting actress.

Universal Pictures' The Fabelmans, a coming-of-age story based on Steven Spielberg's early movie career, also earned seven nominations, including best picture.

The Academy Awards ceremony will be held March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
