ANKARA
A Tunisian media delegation paid a visit to Anadolu Agency headquarters in capital Ankara on Wednesday.
The delegation is in Turkey as part of a program by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), which aims to facilitate collaboration among media organizations and discuss Turkish foreign policy with officials.
The 11-member group was welcomed by Faruk Tokat, Anadolu Agency’s international news editor-in-chief.
Tokat briefed the delegation on the agency activities, the global structuring, goals languages of .
Mentioning the agency as a trusted source for the worldwide news, Tokat underscored that it publishes news, photos videos on a wide array of subjects, including politics, economy, science, culture, technology and sports.
Tokat also said Anadolu Agency operates in 100 countries with 41 offices around the world, broadcasting in 13 languages.
The agency recruits staff from 124 different nationalities, and has subscribers in 76 countries, he added.
Tokat also informed the delegation about the war journalism training provided by the agency.
