ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Agency began an online training program for media representatives from Middle Eastern and North African countries on Monday.
The "Middle East Media Representatives Training Program" (ORMED) will be held virtually on Oct. 25-30.
The program is organized jointly with the national broadcaster TRT and Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).
Senior journalists and academics from the Anadolu Agency and TRT will train the journalists from Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco and Algeria.
Among the lessons are combating disinformation, social media monitoring for journalists, photography, basic photo editing, basic video applications, news writing techniques, new media and social media applications as well as advanced interview techniques.
Anadolu Agency’s News Academy director Bora Bayraktar said "the news academy works with the best trainers" in their fields, such as war journalism, broadcast journalism, agency journalism and photography.
