ANKARA
The Anadolu Agency puts the most spectacular photos of 2014 into the vote in the "AA's Photos of the Year."
The most outstanding photos of events in Turkey and worldwide taken by AA’s photojournalists will be chosen as the AA’s photo of the year.
First organized in 2012 the contest will see many contestants from various countries such as Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, the U.S. and South Africa.
Twenty-two photos in the news and life categories will be presented with captions in Turkish, English and Arabic.
The collection includes photos selected from the photo of the month voting taking place every month and some photos already published in leading media outlets in the world like Time, Washington Post, New York Times, The Guardian, Huffington Post and Paris Match.
The voting for “AA’s photo of the year” will start at www.aa.com.tr on Monday.
