Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Istanbul.

Following the ceremony at the Presidential Dolmabahce Office, Erdogan and Zelenskyy held a bilateral meeting during the Ukrainian leader's one-day working visit to Türkiye.

Earlier on Saturday, Turkish Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal that Zelensky’s meetings in Türkiye would focus on bilateral issues, as well as efforts to establish a ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war and achieve a lasting solution, “with a particular focus on the Istanbul Process.”
