Russian non-energy exports total $157B in 2025

Total volume of $157B represents around 5% increase from estimated figure, says Russian deputy industry and trade minister

MOSCOW

Russia’s non-energy exports reached $157 billion last year, above the estimated figure of $149.2 billion.

Russian deputy industry and trade minister Roman Chekusov said that the country’s non-export revenues continued to grow, noting almost all non-energy industries saw their exports rise.

Chekusov, speaking at an event in Moscow, said that the volume of non-energy exports rose around 5% versus the estimated figure.

Russia’s foreign trade surplus fell 8.2% year-on-year in 2025, totaling $139.3 billion, as per the Russian Federal Customs Service (FDS).

Over the same period, Russia’s exports fell by $16.2 billion, reaching $418.3 billion, while imports declined by $3.8 billion to $279, according to FDS data.
