Recurring earthquakes shake southern Philippines
There were no immediate reports of damages
ISTANBUL
Several earthquakes struck the Philippines on Wednesday, including one with 5.9 magnitude.
The US Geological Survey said the 5.9 magnitude quake struck west of Sangay municipality in the southern part of the Southeast Asian nation at around 0647GMT.
The earthquake was measured at around 10 km in depth.
There were no reports of any damage when the last reports came in.
The latest earthquake followed at least three more of magnitude 5.3 and 5.1 early Wednesday, according to the USGS.
