Government says Pakistan armed forces ‘fully prepared to defend the homeland, airspace, and national security’ after Indian strikes

ISTANBUL
Pakistan accused India of launching missile strikes early Saturday on several critical Pakistani military installations, including the Noor Khan Airbase, Shorkot Airbase and Murid Airbase.
Pakistan’s air defense systems "successfully intercepted and neutralized these hostile attacks in time," according to a government statement on X.
"There have been no casualties or material losses," it said. It also said that "India must now prepare for Pakistan’s response."
The government emphasized that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are "fully prepared to defend the homeland, airspace, and national security."
No immediate response has been issued by India.
