Nearly 60 miners went missing after a huge coalmine collapsed in China’s Inner Mongolia, state-run media reported on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Alxa League town in Inner Mongolia when a large section of the coalmine collapsed.
At least 57 people are reportedly missing after the incident, Global Times reported.
Local authorities have launched a rescue operation. However, no further details were shared by local officials, according to the report.
