ISTANBUL
A 6.0 magnitude earthquake jolted Papua New Guinea's New Ireland region on Tuesday, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences.
With a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles), the quake struck the Pacific nation at 1659GMT.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure.
