The governor of Indonesia's semi-autonomous Aceh state was arrested Tuesday over corruption charges, local media reported Wednesday.
Indonesia's national news agency Antara said the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had accused Irwandi Yusuf of 500 million rupiahs (around $35,000) of corruption from the Aceh autonomy fund.
Yusuf, 57, was later brought to the KPK building in Jakarta for further investigation.
Nine more people are suspects in the case.
Yusuf was sworn in as governor last year, and was previously governor in Aceh between 2007-2012.
