India: Pilot dead after acrobatic planes collide midair
Two pilots injured, no civilian casualties reported

CHANDIGARH, India
One stunt pilot was killed and two others were injured when two acrobatic planes collided midair Tuesday in Bangalore, the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka, officials said.
Two pilots ejected safely while another was killed when the two jets of the Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team collided during a rehearsal flight ahead of a show at the Aero India 2019, local media said.
No civilian casualties were reported.
