Hundreds of spiders seized at Philippine airport
757 tarantulas valued at $6,000
ANKARA
Philippine officials seized hundreds of tarantulas at capital Manila airport Wednesday, U.S. media reported.
NBC Washington said 757 tarantulas were being held by customs authorities in Manila's Ninoy Aquino Airport.
It is said the spiders were found in cookie boxes sent from Poland valued at $6,000.
A suspect was arrested for wild animal trafficking.
