Explosion kills 8 in western Afghanistan
6 children among dead in explosion that occurred in Farah province, says provincial government spokesperson

ISTANBUL
At least eight people, all members of the same family, were killed in a blast in western Afghanistanon Monday, local Ariana News reported.
The deadly blast took place in a house in Balablok district of Farah province, provincial government spokesperson Abdul Malik Osama said Tuesday, adding the victims include a couple and their six children.
Authorities are probing the cause of the explosion.
