Explosion at Japan thermal power plant

ISTANBUL

An explosion occurred at one of Japan’s thermal power plants on Wednesday, police said.

The explosion was reported at the thermal power plant located in central Aichi province, Toklyo-based Kyodo News reported.

Police said there were no reports of any injuries at the plant, jointly run by Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc. and Chubu Electric Power Co.
