China urged its citizens to leave Israel and Iran “as soon as possible,” as the military conflict between Tel Aviv and Iran continued on Tuesday, Chinese state media reported.

The Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv advised Chinese nationals in Israel to “leave the country as soon as possible via land border crossings, while ensuring their personal safety.”

The embassy “recommended using Jordan as a priority route.”

The Chinese Embassy in Tehran also advised Chinese citizens to depart via land border crossings as soon as possible and designated the Razi, Nordooz, Astara, and Bajgiran border crossings as priority routes, the state-run daily Global Times reported.

The embassy warned that with the escalation in tensions, Iran's land border crossings could be closed in the near future.

Regional tensions have escalated since Friday, when Israel launched airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.

Israeli authorities said at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured in Iranian missile attacks since then.

Iran said at least 224 people have been killed and over 1,000 others wounded in the Israeli assault.

China has condemned Israel over its attacks on Iran and warned that Middle Eastern nations would be the “first to suffer” if the conflict escalates.

- India urges citizens to move out of Iranian capital

Separately, India on Tuesday asked its citizens to move out of the Iranian capital Tehran.

“All Indian Nationals and PIOs (persons of Indian origin) who can move out of Tehran using their own resources, are advised to move to a safe location outside the City,” the Indian Embassy in Tehran said in a statement on X.

The Indian Foreign Ministry said Indian students in Tehran have been moved out of the city.

“Some Indians have been facilitated to leave Iran through the border with Armenia,” the ministry said in a statement.

Notably, US President Donald Trump had urged civilians to evacuate Tehran "immediately" amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran.
