A joint naval exercise between China and Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia from mid-to-late October.

Blue Sword 2025 is the third such exercise between the two navies, according to the Chinese People's Liberation Army's official English-language news website, China Military Online.

This joint training will promote the exchange of skills and tactics among the participating troops from both sides, as well as "deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two militaries," Defense Ministry spokesman Senior Colonel Jiang Bin said on Friday.
