Group of satellites carried by Smart Dragon-3 rocket lifted off from waters in eastern province of Shandong
ISTANBUL
China has launched a new group of satellites into space from sea, state media reported on Monday.
A Smart Dragon-3 rocket was blasted into space on Sunday night off the eastern province of Shandong, carrying the satellite group CentiSpace 02 into its planned orbit.
The launch was conducted by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center from the sea near the city of Haiyang.
