PARIS
The wife of one of the two attackers on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has condemned the acts of her husband, according to one of her lawyers.
The wife of Cherif Kouachi, who killed 12 people with his brother Said, has expressed her "outrage and condemnation over the acts of her husband," said her lawyer Christian Saint-Palais.
The woman was released on Saturday after 72 hours of detention.
According to the lawyer, his client has never detected any signs suggesting that her husband "would do such a terrorist action."
"She was stunned," said the lawyer. "Her thoughts are with the victims," Saint-Palais added.
