Turkey undertakes Turkmenistan's largest port project

Turkish construction company GAP would build Turkmenistan's largest port project, "Turkmenbashi International Ports".

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday with the participation of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan,  President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, ministers and MPs of the two countries and the Chairman of Calik Holding.

The project would transform Avaza region into a logistic base and a tourist destination.

Erdogan returns to Turkey after his Turkmenistan visit

Meanwhile, Erdogan returned to Turkish capital Ankara late on Thursday.

Following his visit in Turkmenistan, where he held a series of bilateral talks aimed at boosting trade and political ties between two nations, he came back to Turkey accompanied by a group of ministers and authorities.
