In a written statement released Monday, TIKA Presidency said that TIKA's Montenegro Coordination Office began small health projects as of the second half of 2012.
"TIKA is offering assistance for establishment of an ultrasound unit at the Health Center of Montenegro Police Department, a dialysis center in Plav, and an energy unit at the State Hospital of Plevlya. TIKA is helping the restoration of the Blood Transfusion Center of Montenegro and providing medical equipment to the Byelo Polye Health Center and other centers in Podgorica's various sites," TIKA statement stated.

"TIKA President Dr. Serdar Cam was in the Albanian capital of Tirana where he held talks with various officials including the Minister of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Aldo Bumci. TIKA established a Tourism and Promotion Office at the Tirana International Airport to boost Albanian tourism," TIKA statement also said.
Tirana International Airport serves around 1.5 million people every year.
