Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said they will be insistent on Israel’s interests, security and protection of borders in a possible peace agreement with Palestinians, underlining that they reject the right of return for refugees who left their lands in 1948.
Netanyahu said they attach great importance to the unity of Jerusalem and Palestinians must recognize Israel’s Jewish identity for a possible peace.
Israeli premier spoke before a weekly cabinet meeting and said they want peace but Palestinians should compromise on some of their demands.
On Iran, Netanyahu once more said the pressure on Iran should be increased because Iran, even when negotiations continued, carried on enriching uranium in nuclear facilities.
