Hakan Sukur elected as chair of Turkey-Italy Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group.***
ANKARA
An Istanbul deputy of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party and a former soccer star, Hakan Sukur, was elected as the chair of Turkey-Italy Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group.
Sukur formerly played for Italian clubs Torino, Inter and Parma and speaks Italian.
