DSP LEADER TURKEY ASKS PRESIDENT GUL TO ORGANIZE MEETING ON "DEMOCRATIC MOVE"
ANKARA - Democratic Left Party (DSP) chairman on Thursday asked President Abdullah Gul to take necessary steps to organize a meeting with the leaders of political parties in the parliament to discuss "democratic move".
DSP chairman Masum Turker sent a letter to President Gul asking a series of meetings to be held for the solution of the problem without creating tension in the society.
The letter was also sent to Justice & Development (AK) Party chairman & Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Deniz Baykal, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) chairman Devlet Bahceli, Democratic Society Party (DTP) chairman Ahmet Turk and Turkey Party chairman Abdullatif Sener.
In the letter, Turker said democratic move should be discussed constructively and without impeding ways of solution.
