WASHINGTON

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will make his final visit to India next week, the White House announced Friday.

Sullivan will visit New Delhi from Jan. 5-6 for what the White House described as his "capstone meeting" with his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, before President-elect Donald Trump assumes office Jan. 20.

The officials will discuss "a range of issues across the breadth of our partnership with India, from space defense, strategic technology cooperation all the way also to shared security priorities in the Indo, Pacific and beyond," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters.

Sullivan will also meet with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and will visit the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi where he will deliver public remarks.
