US Justice Department, FBI say Epstein had no 'client list,’ committed suicide: Report
US administration releasing video that it says shows no one entered area of Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night he died in 2019

ISTANBUL
The US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI have determined there is no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed influential individuals, maintained a "client list" or was murdered, a media report said Sunday.
This came in a memo detailing the findings which was obtained by Axios, the US news website said in its report.
The Trump administration is releasing both raw and "enhanced" versions of a video that it says shows no one entered the area of the Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night he died in 2019.
The two-page memo claims that the video backs the medical examiner’s conclusion that Epstein committed suicide.
The findings represent the first time President Donald Trump’s administration has officially disputed conspiracy theories about Epstein’s activities and death—theories that had been pushed by the FBI’s top two officials before Trump appointed them.
Kash Patel (now the FBI's director) and Dan Bongino (now its deputy director), both social media influencers and activists, were among the Make America Great Again (MAGA) figures who questioned the official account of Epstein’s death.
They have since stated that Epstein committed suicide. However, it remains a widely held belief online, particularly among right-wing circles, that Epstein’s crimes involved government officials, celebrities and business leaders—and that someone killed him to cover it up.
The memo says that no other individuals involved in the Epstein case will face charges.
Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related crimes.
The memo states that investigators carefully reviewed footage of Epstein’s Manhattan prison cell from about 10.40 pm on Aug. 9, 2019, when he was locked in, until around 6.30 am the following day, when he was found unresponsive.
The administration said the footage, which was reviewed by Axios but not independently verified, showed no one entering the area.
"The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability," according to the memo.
The memo adds that investigators found "no incriminating 'client list' " of Epstein's, "no credible evidence...that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals" and no "evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."
The DOJ and FBI state in the memo that no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related materials is "appropriate or warranted."
The memo adds that much of the material involves child sexual abuse, details about Epstein's victims and information that could wrongly implicate innocent individuals in "allegations of wrongdoing."
