The US employment report for January is scheduled to be released Feb. 11, after a brief federal government shutdown caused a delay in the release of the figures.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) shared a revised calendar Wednesday following the resumption of federal government services after a partial shutdown due to insufficient funding.

The updated schedule has the jobs report, which was previously scheduled to be released Feb. 6, being announced Feb. 11.

Additionally, the JOLTS job openings data for December will be released Feb.5.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for January, previously scheduled for Feb. 11, will now be shared Feb. 13.

The partial government shutdown, which lasted four days, ended Feb. 3 when President Donald Trump signed a budget package approved by Congress.
