US envoy for Syria Tom Barrack arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Sunday for talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.
According to local media reports, the visit may reflect a renewed American engagement in Lebanon, which is facing deepening economic hardships and political uncertainty.
In a post on social media platform X, Barrack called for “peace and dialogue to prevail” in Syria, warning against “cycles of tribal vengeance.”
