US President Donald Trump returned Wednesday to the Oval Office after his physician said he shows no coronavirus symptoms.

Trump was briefed on the stimulus talks and Hurricane Delta, White House Deputy Press Secretary Brian Morgenstern confirmed.

"Was just briefed on Hurricane Delta, and spoke with @GovAbbott of Texas and @LouisianaGov
John Bel Edwards," Trump wrote on Twitter after the confirmation.

"Please heed the directions of your State and Local Officials. We are working with them very closely — please be prepared, be careful, and be safe!" he added.

The US National Hurricane Center expects the size of the strom to grow as it crosses the Gulf of Mexico which likely to affect Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Earlier Wednesday, Trump's physician Dr. Sean Conley said the president was "symptom-free" for more than 24 hours and "fever-free" for more than four days.

Trump, 74, confirmed last Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for the virus, hours after Hope Hicks, one of his closest aides who traveled with him as recently as last Wednesday, tested positive for COVID-19.

He left Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday and will continue his treatment at the White House.
