WASHINGTON

A resident of a Manhattan luxury apartment building dumped bleach and trash on pro-Palestinian protesters during a demonstration, according to footage shared online Tuesday.

The protest, organized by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), a Palestinian-led community group, was part of a global strike for Gaza and began Monday outside the UN before heading toward the Israeli Consulate. The group said the New York Police Department (NYPD) rerouted protesters and kettled them onto East 43rd Street.

They said they were left with no choice but to move in the direction the officers dictated when the attack occurred from the Summit NYC luxury building on East 44th St.

WOL said projectiles — including bleach, rocks and feces — were thrown from a balcony of the building.

“This was an intentional, violent assault meant to harm and intimidate,” the group said, accusing police of standing by and “protecting Zionist terror.”

Summit NYC said it was “deeply disturbed” by the incident and is cooperating with authorities while taking internal action.
