US Geological Survey reports quake occurred 186 miles west of Bandon, Oregon, no tsunami warning issued
ISTANBUL
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck Friday off the coast of the American western state of Oregon, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The powerful temor occurred at a shallow depth of 4.4 miles (7.1 kilometers), with the epicenter 186 miles west of the city of Bandon.
No tsunami warning was issued and there were no reports of damage or injuries on land.
