WASHINGTON
At least four people have been killed after a tornado wracked a southern Mississippi town early Saturday.
The city of Hattiesburg confirmed the death toll on Twitter.
Photographs posted by the city show mass damage, including buildings being blown into roadways, downed power line, and flipped over cars.
Downtown Hattiesburg appeared to be particularly hard hit with debris strewn across city streets.
The city said firefighters and police are going door to door to rescue victims.
