A small plane crashed on an avenue in Sao Paulo’s Barra Funda district on Friday morning, killing at least two people and injuring two others, according to local media.

The King Air F90 plane, which can carry up to eight passengers, crashed around 7:20 a.m. local time (1020GMT) and collided with a bus, causing it to burst into flames, Brazilian Globo News reported.
The fire department reported that two charred bodies were found inside the plane.
A motorcyclist passing by was injured by debris, and the bus driver, who was alone in the vehicle, also sustained injuries.
Witnesses described hearing an explosion and seeing a large cloud of black smoke.

The plane had departed from Campo de Marte airport at around 7:15 a.m. and was headed to Porto Alegre in the southeast.
The police and the Brazilian Air Force are investigating the cause of the crash and potential responsibilities.
