1 dead after private jets collide at Arizona airport
4 people injured when one jet veers off runway and collides with Gulfstream 200 jet that was parked

WASHINGTON
At least person was killed and four others injured when private jets collided Monday at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, according to local media.
A Learjet arriving from Austin veered off the runway and collided with a Gulfstream 200 jet that was parked, according to Kelli Kuester, an aviation planning and outreach coordinator at the airport.
It appeared that the primary landing gear of the arriving jet failed, resulting in the collision, said Kuester.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it launched an investigation into the crash.
