Kenya’s health authorities on Wednesday confirmed 11 new COVID-19-related deaths and 957 new infections, local media reported.
The country's case-count has reached 72,686 with the death toll at 1,313, said Mutahi Kagwe, cabinet secretary for health, according to The Star newspaper.
So far, COVID-19 has killed 30 healthcare workers in Kenya.
The number of recoveries in the country has reached 49,878.
