COVID-19 cases in Africa surpass 5M
At least 134,818 people have died, according to Africa CDC

The number of people in Africa who contracted coronavirus has crossed five million, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Monday.
At least 134,818 people have died of COVID-19 related complications, while more than 4.52 million have recovered.
Of the 2.39 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses administered to date, Africa's share is mere 41.56 million, according to Our World in Data tracking website.
