Iraq: Daesh attack military base near Anbar province

ANBAR, Iraq
Daesh militants attacked a military base located between Anbar and Saladin provinces on Sunday, a military source said.
According to information received from military sources, Daesh entered the headquarters of a military base located between Salahadin and Anbar provinces.
After an exchange of gunfire between the two sides, Iraqi soldiers escaped from the base and ran away.
A large number of casualties have been reported from both sides.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and Daesh have been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
