Protests continue in Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, Bosnia & Herzegovina

Protests against low living standards took place in different parts of Sarajevo on Sunday, while at the same time, a group in Mostar city launched a petition campaign for the resignation of the government.

Protesters gathered before the presidency building in Sarajevo, blocking traffic in the Mareshal Tito and Ali Pasha Streets.

Banners were held up saying: "We want the names of billionaires," "Destroy the national banks"," "You are responsible for the collapse of the economy."

It has been reported that security forces present at the scene did not intervene.

At the same time, a group in Mostar city’s Hersek-Neretva launched a petition campaign for the resignation of the government.
