Ramallah (AA) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on the Islamic countries to support Palestinians in Jerusalem.

Speaking at 4th Jerusalem Conference, Abbas expressed his astonishment at fatwas given by some Islamic scholars that visiting Jerusalem was forbidden by Islam as it was occupied by Israel.

Abbas called Muslims to visit Masjid al Aqsa to support Jerusalem and its Palestinian population.
