After Gezi Park events, Turkish toursim sector recovered via early-bookings, said Undersecretary of Turkish ministry of Culture and Tourism Ozgur Ozarslan.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) Ozarslan said 60 percent of Turkey's tourism capacity was full with early-booking system.

Ozarslan said early booking system proved to be more successful compared to previous years in 2013.

He announced that the ministry would closely engage with Middle East, central and northern Europe to fulfill the remaining 40 percent with last-minute sales.

Tourists from Germany, Holland and Britain generally tend to book their holidays following new year, and Russia seems to lead the early-bookings, generally preferring sea-side and cultural destinations.
