The mid-season transfer window for Turkish football clubs opens on Tuesday. As of January 7, the clubs may sign players with whom they reach an agreement.
The mid-season transfer window will close on Monday February 3.
In Turkey, Galatasaray agreed with Swiss-born Bosnian winger Izet Hajrovic, and it is expected that he will sign a 4.5-year-contract with the Lions. Meanwhile Gremio's Brazilian left-back Alex Telles' transfer to the Lions was confirmed.
While they sign many players, some left the club. The Yellow-Reds loaned their Moroccan winger Nordin Amrabat to Antalyaspor without charge and Cameroonian centre-back Dany Nounkeu to Kardemir Karabukspor until the end of the season.
It is claimed that Besiktas has been negotiating with Brazilian star Ronaldinho, who has been a free agent since January 1. Transfer talks with the famous Brazilian attacking midfielder are ongoing. At the same time, the Black Eagles are interested in Manchester City's English centre-back Joleon Lescott. It was rumoured that the 31-year-old defender, whose contract will expire on June 30, might make a move to Besiktas.
In Fenerbahce, no player has transferred yet. But they released their Turkish forward Semih Senturk, who has been out of the first team squad for months, and Medical Park Antalyaspor snapped him up on a free transfer.
