Israeli airstrikes kill 61 more Palestinians in Gaza Strip
Israeli warplanes and artillery strike multiple locations across blockaded enclave

At least 61 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Monday when Israeli warplanes and artillery struck multiple locations across the Gaza Strip, including areas sheltering displaced families.
The Israeli army has escalated its airstrikes and artillery shelling on the southern and eastern parts of Gaza City, especially in the neighborhoods of Zeitoun, Shejaiya, and al-Tuffah, witnesses said.
The army also conducted air strikes on four schools sheltering displaced Palestinians after issuing evacuation warnings -- three of them in the Zeitoun neighborhood and one in al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, according to local sources.
In the latest attack, at least 21 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli strike targeting the Gaza City beach, a medical source said.
According to witnesses, a fighter jet fired at least one missile at a cafe and a rest area west of Gaza City, completely destroying it.
Five bodies were brought to Al-Shifa Medical Complex following a drone strike targeting a group of civilians in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu.
Another Palestinian was killed and 23 others were injured after being targeted by the Israeli army while seeking aid on Salah al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area, the statement from Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza said.
Israeli forces also killed one Palestinian and injured others in shelling targeting their tents in al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to medical sources.
Body parts of 10 Palestinians and a number of injured were brought to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital following an Israeli airstrike targeting a commercial warehouse in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu.
The commercial warehouse is used by charitable organizations to receive and distribute humanitarian aid to people in the enclave.
Meanwhile, the body of a woman and several others injured were brought to the Baptist Hospital after an Israeli helicopter dropped a bomb on Al-Sikka Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, a medical source said.
Four bodies and several injured also arrived at the hospital following an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of citizens in the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to the source.
Separately, three Palestinians, including a woman, were killed in an Israeli drone strike in Katiba, Khan Younis, a medical source at Nasser Hospital told Anadolu.
Thirteen more people were killed and 50 others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting aid seekers southwest of Khan Younis, another medical source said.
The source also said that another Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Rafah in southern Gaza.
One more Palestinian was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house near Al-Sahaba Medical Complex in central Gaza City.
Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has killed more than 56,500 Palestinians in a deadly onslaught in the Gaza Strip since October 2023.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
