Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Tuesday at 9.430,99 points, marking an increase of 0.38% or 35.6 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 index was up slightly by 0.06% to 9,395.39 points, with a daily transaction volume of 81 billion Turkish liras ($2.34 billion).


As of 10.30 a.m. (0730GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.6055 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.6410 for the euro, and 43.8430 for the British pound.

The price of one ounce of gold was $2,618.49, and the price of Brent crude oil traded at $72.95 per barrel.
