Turkish stock exchange up at midweek opening
BIST 100 index gains 14.50 points at opening session on Wednesday

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 9,821.60 points, up 0.15% or 14.50 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 0.33% to close at 9,807.10 points, with a daily transaction volume of 102.8 billion liras ($2.86 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.9540 as of 9.55 am (0655GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 37.3630, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.8640.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,860.50 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $75.90 per barrel.
