ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's flag carrier Turkish Airlines will resume flights to the northwestern Libyan province of Misrata in September, the company said Tuesday.
Flights, which were suspended in 2015 because of internal disturbance in Libya, will resume on the Istanbul-Misrata route beginning Sept. 2, it said.
Flights will be operated Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, according to the carrier's schedule.
The number of destinations served in the country will increase to three with the resumption of Turkish Airlines' flights to Misrata, including to Tripoli and Benghazi.
